2009 Karaoke Showdown contest Rules.
1.Official dates are January 24, 2009 to March 28, 2009. Finals are Saturday April 4, 2009.
2. Warm ups will begin one hour prior to contest.
3. Contest will begin as contracted. All times will be announced the week of the event.
4. Contest will take place between contracted times and time will be announced on air. If contest ends in less than three hours (warm up time not included) , DJ will continue until four hours are completed.
5. Contest is free to enter.
6. Contestants must be 21 or older to participate.
7. All music/songs must come from the DJ's library, no other music/songs will be allowed.
8. 2008 Karaoke Showdown Champion may not compete at any level in the 2009 contest.
9. Employees of sponsors are not eligible on the night sponsor is hosting contest.
10. Employees of Bad River Casino, Lodge & Convention Center are not eligible.
11. Employees of Heartland Communications and their immediate family members are not eligible.
12. Contestants may enter as many times as they wish to try to qualify.
13. Contestants may qualify for the finals only one time.
14. Two (2) qualifiers for from each contest will be invited to the finals.
15. The DJ is responsible for running the contest.
16. The DJ and/or Heartland Communications may disqualify anyone who does not follow the guidelines and rules of said contest(s).
17. Heartland Communications will choose the judges for the finals.
